When i connect my router i connect to my network...lets say the name is SSnipe's Network but when i disconnect my router and plug my modem directly into the pc half the time it connects to my network still even without the router and other half it connects to something else just called network my question is when my routers plug in it connects to my network like it should but why when i connect my modem to my pc without the router still connects to my network without anything telling it to and half the time connecting to network called network?, i dont want this public netowrk that has my networks name where people can access my pc with the file sharing and such
if anyone needs it i can take ss and try to make it easy to understand just ask
