Hi, i have tried to install renguard for awhile but i keep getting a 404 error after it tries to download CP1 on the auto download. I would provide a screen-shot but my print-screen button doesn't work.
What happens exactly is i run load up renegade on the TFD menu and that loads up renguard which starts its pre check and runs through a list a files like e.g. city.mix.
When it does that it brings up the black-hand studios core patch down-loader and i can click on install core patch it starts the download ok then stops with a message saying Failed: 404 not found check network connections close the program and try again then after a few seconds it says Timeout detected check network/firewall connections close the program and try again.
I have checked my network connections and thats fine and my firewall is allowing renguard/renegade (don't kill me lol but it's Norton personal firewall, came with the Internet package). I have followed the advice on the installing renguard in steps sticky.
I'm running XP on SP2
Thanks for any help, i did check out the FAQ section but i didn't see anything on the 404 error unless i wasn't looking properly.
Lady: I see. Maybe somewhere out there even a devil may cry when he loses a loved one. Don't you think?
