This was found in the "Voice of the People" section in my local newspaper. This was NOT written by me. This was written by Larry Zaier who is a resident of my city.
"People are going to smoke, and however they obtain the smokes is driving crime and/or whatever other means used to obtain them beyond legality. This is, or will be, bigger than Prohibition ever thought of being. Why not use a fair plan, across the board, to reduce some of the higher-than-ever salaries and/or bonuses they give to each other, or whatever means necessary to achieve peace across the United States. The prisons and jails are full before they are even built. All of this money (from the cigarette tax) will be gone as well, so why should all of us worry? The state will just find some other way to fill their pockets. Does Patrick Henry come to mind?"
If you found any sense or relevance to his ranting, then you sir, are also an idiot.
whoa.
