And...it might not be an issue but just incase it is - how do i install the patchs?

TY

In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.

When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..

Hmm, the RenAlert dir sounds like a good place to put the RenAlert patch.

Don't worry about that dumb warning, just keep clicking ok. It will pause at 92% because it's working on the always.dat, give it acouple minutes and it will be done Smile .

The speed seems to increase with the badger badger song going on in the background.

You did install into a directory completely different to Renegade right?
Some people have installed it to their Renegade/Data directory and were surprised when they encountered problems.

This is exactly whats happening to me too. People were saying to patch it in the right order; but I did that too, as well as the proper directory.

i downloaded the first patch, and it didn't work, so i downloaded it again and did a few things and it works.

[a] go to start: run. run regedit. go to C:/Westwood/RenAlert. Under version, if it says 0 change it to a 1.
[b] copy the file Game from your Renegade folder into your RenAlert folder.
[c] you may have to download http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290887]this file
