Hey guys, long time no see. I had some serious problems with my computer for several months and could'nt go online so I cancelled my service and focused on getting some remodeling done on my house. Well, my comp's back up and running and I'm aching to get back to playing Renegade, but when I logged into WOL I didn't see alot of the servers that I used to play on (Clan FUD WhineFree was one of my favorite). Anyway, just wondering if any fellow 56kr's could recommend some good servers.
PS: It's great to see Renegade still going this strong and alot of famillar names I haven't seen in a while. Also, my belated condoleces go out to Trey, his family, and all his friends, I am very sorry to hear about this tragedy.

I played a few games on House of Love last night and had a blast. I don't know why, but on that server when I join a game it loads FAST! faster than I've ever seen it load on any server. Hey Shaft, good to see ya! You still with UPS? got used to seeing that in your sig

You get the idea, generally try to stick around dedicated 20 player servers and you'll have a good time, without lag being a problem.

well the WhineFree server is still up, i have played on it many times. As for the best servers for 56k, i would say The Pits and any DOM server
|
Um, The Pits server is not 56K friendly. The large large amount of people on that server and the good deal of movement and action requires a good amouth of bandwidth.
I had 56K for a good while.
Dedicated servera under about 20 players are almost always good. OnnaServe is probably the best I would say.

I run a server some times, 10 people and the net update is 7. When I had 56k this was good for me.

Ok, several have stated that the FUD "Whine-Free" server is still up but I haven't seen it. I have seen a FUD "SARS-Free" (or something like that) server, is this the same? or has the "W-F" been off-line recently? Again, thanks for all the help

FUD is lagging so bad right now.I don't know what sspoo (or something) is doing, but seriously, I never got 700 for ping before. 
I suck cock and love it... absolutely love it. And I just got banned for being too immature to be allowed to post here.
