Please Ack, I really don't mind you viocing your opinion, but please don't insult it. Give us some helpful tips. You can say it looks bad, but please not in such an insulting way. Do you think the model needs work? Or just the skin? Or both? If so, what type of details can we add?

Fiest of all, yes the tan color is a desert Camouflage. Camouflage isn't always the funky patterns that you see on combats and other military vehicles/personel. Camouflage is simple the color that the military uses to make something appear invisible.
Secondly, I just gave that pic because I thought you could use it to give more "life" to the way the tank looks, and still have it resemble the real thing. At least skin-wise.

as i said in a previous thread.
your model may be nice under that less than perfect skin.
your skin will make or break.
here are some hints. add panels, hinges, handles, decals (like warning), etc.. to the skin in the appropriate places. check out the med tank skin in renegade, it has all kinds of detail that the actual model doesn't even have, like the entire back engine access area is skin only.
play with these ideas, change your ambient color from bright white to a lower toned down light grey (that will help with that uber brightness that it is giving off).
some suggestions, hope you take them

just another suggestion, after checking out that pic...
you might want to match the camo of your troops and vehicles, they do in real life.
from that pic i see a desert camo tank, and a jungle camo infantry.
just another suggestion that will help make your mod stand out from the rest.
