I have 3 computers on my home network system. Have played TS and RA2 over the network without a problem. HOWEVER, with Renegade, I have not been able to set up for multiplayer LAN. Only 2 computers will be playing Renegade; both computers have their own copy of Renegade and both have downloaded the current Renegade patch. Both can get to LAN and to the LAN setup screen. One computer attempts to setup as host but nothing seems to happen. Have tried numerous configurations as host but neither computer seems to be able to 'see' each other. I have not received any error messages. Have read forum posts here on Multiplay LAN issues, but none have helped. I am stuck...really want to play against the wife on Renegade!!

Both computers meet the system requirements for playing Renegade; am using Netgear hub and have not had any problems with other games. HELP!!!!!!! Thanking the forum in advance....goodieguy2

Sorry, should have identified that in my original post...am running Zone Alarm Pro on my system (the network admin) and Zone Alarm (the freebie) on the others - this has not created problems in the past with any LAN play on the other games tho. Additionally, use Norton AV on all 3 computers - that has not been a problem in the past either. Also, my OS is WinME on all 3 systems.

I have had problems with a lan game and Zone Alarm. I would sugest disconcecting the internet, then disable Zone Alarm, to see if that works.
