i have been unable to get to the pitts site. has it been down? or has the link changed? or does it have a problem with ie5.5?
i know it's an older version of ie, but versions above it really suck.

Theatre: A city, obviously
Description: The first map fitted for online flying. THe map was originally designed to be a flight enabled map, which Eric had started on about two years ago. Last year, Devinoch, aka Cliff Hicks, announced that Helicopter Pads would not appear in any of the flying maps. I went ahead and put in what was supposed to be in... The Helicopter Pads. They repair airborne units if you land on them.
Changes to units:
All Rocket Soldier\Gunner units fire homing missiles now. They're the replacement Havoc soldiers for anti-aircraft fire.
MRLS has a turret and fires better homing missiles which seek better and travel faster, being GDI's mobile anti-aircraft unit. Its price was increased to around $800 to compensate.
The Artillery's price was increased to $600.
The Mammoth Tank can hit airborne units with missiles now. It still costs $1,500 and has the cannon\missile improvements shown in Bunkers.
The Recon Bike was added, being Nod's mobile anti-aircraft vehicle.
The Transport Helicopters have a different start-up\shut-down\idle sound.
The Apaches\Orcas have their original missile firing sounds, and a new machine gun sound.
Sniper units do 20% of the damage they once did to aircraft.

Basically City Flying Map with Helipads for each side that repair the air vehicles and also Nod Recon bikes. Also like the other maps minor adjustments to the prices and the sounds have been changed a bit. Other values have been jiggered around too.

There are two sites provided by the-pits
http://renegade.the-pitts.net is the Gameserver Forums
http://www.renmaps.com is a free maps database provided by the-pits
In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.
When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..

i've tried them both and they both time out for me.
i'll try again when i'm at work tonight. if it works there, then i can assume it just has a problem with my older browser. i just hope i can download from work without a admin issue, then email the maps to myself at home.
