It's only about $10-$15. You don't have that?

Now, there ARE legal uses for .iso files. Wink When Ren came out my cd-rom was fuxx0red up on my (now dead) computer. Westwood sent me a free copy, but since I couldn't use the cd-rom, I couldn't install. I therefore went and found an .iso version and downloaded it, and was able to install and play in the Renegade Community Tournament organized by WW-U. =)

Yup... It's accually legal if you download it and delete it within 24 hours. After 24 hours it's illegal. It's basically supposed to be test drive before you go out and buy it. Kind of like a demo version, only nothing is missing.

No, I'm saying that I had a legal copy of the game, but was unable to play it due to my cd-rom being fuxx0red. .iso files aren't illegal if you own the game.

I know what u mean I ripped a clone cd image of my Renegade cd's so I can use the virtual drive to run it without putting the CD's in...

It saves me ending up posting a "my cd broke" thread and keeps them nice and protected in my case Very Happy.

Care to show the legal document on that? I do believe the whole "Delete in 24 hours" thing was invented by people to justify their distribution of ROMS and warez, Of course, you show me the document, and I'll be proven wrong.
