Was just wondering cause I've never seen those leaked.

Long time and well respected Renegade community member, programmer, modder and tester.

Wasn't the beta installer on the old Westwood FTP site? If so several people have backups of that, including myself (somewhere)

If you want to check the old westwood FTP I have it hosted in a 7z archive at

It's a big download though, so it'll take a while and I don't even know if it is in there. It's a mirror of the entire westwood FTP as it used to be.

If it's a large download I'd rather not want to wait. Sounds weird the beta is on Westwood's FTP, are you sure it's not the demo?

I only see the demo (RenegadeDemo_1019.exe) in the WW FTP, no beta.

That said, there is this. It's apparently files from an old version of LevelEdit, I believe several people have this as well.

I was checking through that but it turns out it's from SeamanSR's Commando mod from 2004.

Ah yes, it was the demo, not the beta. I was at work so I couldn't check what was in the archive, thought it might have been the beta.

I think Aircraftkiller was in the beta testing, he might still have the files lying around somewhere...
