I think part of it has to do with the image gallery. I'm working on rewriting it at the moment. When it's not using resources on the database server, things should improve, and if not, I will bug the web host. I get a little bit of lag at times, too... but it hasn't got any better or worse with the addition of these forums... you just notice it more because you're here more.

Ok.
Even if it was working he's doing it wrong, like I said, you need to link to the raw image URL not the other one. (when you upload to n00bstories you have two links, choose the raw one)

It streaches the table and is way too big. I don't mind the size since I have dsl, but think of the 56ks!
