A .w3d file keeps popping up, which contains all the f8 commands, it's called commands.w3d and it appears in my documents.

Where is it coming from, do I need to keep deleting it every day to play in 4.0 servers? :>

Are you sure its a w3d file, it should be called commands.txt

Yeah its a txt file, I'm guessing tt thinks its a .w3d file though, since I can't join a 4.0 server until I delete it.

What error do you see when you try to join a 4.0 server?

something about a disallowed .w3d file I'll screenshot it next time.

Edit: Since I can't screenshot for some reason :/ I'll just type it; 'Invalid EXTRABLOCK.w3d found, you have been blocked by the anticheat'

Each time its happened its been a different .w3d :/

How is that related to commands.txt though? It depends on the server you're playing on, apparently you have such file in your data folder, and the server does not allow you to use it.

derp, whenever I did a search for .w3d, thats all that came up, so I deleted it and then it worked, when it seems just restarting renegade would have worked lol...

Still doesn't explain it really though.

Could be a server misconfiguration. Either way, let's ignore it until it happens again. Smile
