I don't think I critiqued your stuff before, but these are my thoughts:
Summer: It feels like you keep building up for something to happen, but it never comes. It's like I'm on a rollercoaster in complete darkness and I keep going up... but I realize that I'm not going to go back down.
The Story: I liked the way it started, the smooth ambiance. I think the kicks just interrupt it a little too "hard". I would have liked to have heard more of the ambient noise from the beginning throughout the track
I don't think your stuff is "bad" per se, but it's rather simple and a little predictable. What I would like is hearing some sampling of other songs or adding vocals so that you're not relying too heavily on loops.
Who are your influences, by the way? Who do you think you sound most like?

When Life is too Short: I think you have too many different things going on in this one that don't go well together. The strings make it sound like a suspenseful film scene and I don't think they fit with the finger snaps. The piano is okay with the finger snaps, but the strings are a little too extreme for both of them.
When the Sun Goes Down: I actually kind of like this one. I think it's too long though. I also think you need some sort of "resting" phase in here somewhere... it gets a little tiring hearing the same stuff without some different bits to keep it interesting.
