I want to restore renegade back to original with out any patches or any updates or anything just like it was just freshly installed so I can back up my files. I lost my disc and I keep screwing it up when I try and down load skins. I'm just trying to add a new feel and look to my game and am having a little trouble doing so and can't really afford to buy a new one right now. Any help would be great, thank you.

If you still have the custom scripts, then just press "cancel" when it asks for the cd. If you have removed the custom scripts, as instructed above, then you need your disk to play.

Data folder seems clean/OK 
For the renegade main folder:
You could delete the last RenGuard related files (RenGuardpatcherV1.2 and the RenGuard_uninstall file)
Although these dont affect your renegade. Just to clean up the folder a bit.
And i see a BandTest.dll and a BandTest.original.dll
Seems modified so i would delete BandTest.dll and rename BandTest.original.dll back to BandTest.dll
