I always had this trouble with Renegade with the opening movie when you start the game and the movies when I play the missions.

The trouble is they skip or stutter everyone once in a while they play perfectly anyone know whats wrong? Question

I don't know why this happens. It used to happen to me all the time, but it went away on its own (go figure). Maybe its a bad video card, dirty or damaged disc, dirty or damaged disc drive, or all, or a compination. Should clean disc gently, along with you Disc Drive, and maybe see how old your video card is. (COuld also reinstall)

I personally think its a problem w/the game. Reason being when I first played Rene on my 550mhz (Im @ 850mhz) I had the same issue. Later on I installed it on my friends 1ghz and had the same issue Mad .

I think it's video card related. I had the same problems on a TNT2 32MB card, but they went away on a Geforce4/MX440.

i had that problem with my GF2 until i upgraded my Mobo and processor. then it ran fine.

TIP: download the bink tools and watch the movies outside of the game. they will run smooth.

I think its your CD drive reading the movies too slow off the Ren CD.

I had this problem but it did turn out to be my CD/DVD drive...

I used a iso and a Virtual Drive once and notice that there was no probem so I figueded it was my CD/DVD drive.
