Now when i try opening the package, it crashes.

Do you have Renegade installed with The First Decade??

If so than you will have to change a register key to point to the exact install location of renegade.

Start -> Run -> 'regedit'
Then go to HKLM->Software->Westwood->Renegade
In there you'll see a key called 'InstallPath' which points to C:\Westwood\Renegade\

Change this to the location you installed renegade

TFD Default:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade(tm)\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade\

I have

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade(tm)\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade\

in my registry but I'm still missing presets.

Hmm try to add 'game.exe' after the path.

Else:
Are you opening an existing Mod package or a new one???

If you opened an existing one try to open a new one too.

I somehow got LE to work about a week ago but my dumbass dad reset the computer the day after and I have the problem again. I have tried opening a new mod pack and that didn't change anything.

I've tried...

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade(tm)\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade\

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade(tm)\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade.exe

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade(tm)\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade\game.exe

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade(tm)\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade\game2.exe

...and still missing presets each time.

Hmm that's just weird.

One more thing, if you haven't got JonWil's LE version you should get it. You won't have to copy/paste the scripts to your mod anymore Thumbs Up

This is not a tech support post, it's a flame. Please elaborate as to where he is going wrong, thank you.

You have to put that exe file in your existing LevelEdit folder... make sure to rename your existing one to .exe.bak or something first so you can go back to it if necessary.
