Its even more funnier if you act as you believe it, but then fake the guy who tries to. They are mostly African people who try this, to get money of you.

There are even sites about faking the guys who try this to people over the world.

Oh, sorry for the weird sentence.

How do I know that those E-mails are (mostly) from Africa? I don't remember the site names, but there are sites where they trick those people. Tricking them by asking pictures from those people (the E-mail senders) with them on it, with weird english words on a piece of paper they have to hold.

They ask such pictures, so that they 'believe' the E-mail is real. On most of the pictures, you can see black people, mostly African people.

The question remains, who actually falls for a scam like this? You would have to be really dumb to think that someone would just give you lots of money just like that.

the other day my parents called me and said we won a laptop from this website and all we need to give them is our names age and addresses... i gave them a long speech about it... just like the long speeches i used to get from them when they caught me smoking in my youth.

it was a nice way to get back at them for all the bitching i gout while growing up, this time i got to use phrases like smarten up and the famous "do you really believe everything people tell you".

it was nice Satisfied

I just cant wait until the "One Laptop Per Child" program picks up.

Search for "Haxial" from Haxial.net and how he screwed with one of these scammers. He even sent the guy a photoshopped passport of James T. Kirk and the dummy never caught on until the end, when he sent pics of his "murdered wife" in the bathtub (She was 'snooping around') and he needed to get the money NOW and was leaving the country. After the scammer didnt reply, he emailed back "I have a bathtub waiting for you!"

Funny how this is still around after all these years. I bet the scammers are scamming other wanna-be scammers by selling them scammer templates and email lists.

"You cant con an honest man". Read a book (biography) called "The Yellow Kid" about a guy named Weil. Everything in the movie "The Sting" was taken from that book. VERY funny scams. Outrageous!

You can give them the F.B.I.s phone number and address, if they are stupid enought to try it they can get caught doing it.
