Hi everyone! I'm having a tad of bother trying to get scud storm to work. I had gotten the file through www.FileFront.com, the file I got was a separate rar file (256mb in size).
I had sent it to the renegade/data directory but it's not showing up within the mods section when I go to test it out in a LAN game.
I don't know if I've sent it to the correct folder or if it's a corrupt file or whatever.
Any help of links given would be greatly appreciated!

By having to 'redo' it all. Do only need the installer from modDB or do I need to go to another site link from modDB?
I'll need a bit of a hand lol! I have the rar file and thats it.
Crikey... I wish I knew more about these mods O_o

Thanks for the help! I'm downloading it now.
As for the servers, I'm not too bothered though is there any way to create a lobby room to play on if someone else has the mod? If not I'll just play it for the hell of it lol!

Just log into WOL via scud storm and hit "Host Game". Run through the options, and hit 'Start Game'
Also, the server-side mod (SSGM with Scud storm scripts compiled) is buggered to hell and I've yet to fix them - one reason why I said the server could go down.

Yeah, I've got a bit of trouble with the scripts. It says I need to update my direct x (which is at 9.0c) to run that version of scripts.dll
Is this fixable by any chance?
Thank you all for the help so far!

Maybe!
Though to be honest it's have to be around now and 6 hours after or any time during the weekend.
I like your attitude (gameplay over graphics). Those who belive in that saying are the loyal ones still online of Renegade, Ren aloert and this board.
I (or someone else) should make a get together topic of some sorts for this mod. I'll need to test it works first.

I remember one time I was downloading DirectX sh*t for a game engine I was trying to setup...I got the same error. You'd better wait for dp88 on this. He seems to know more than me

Thats ok, I apprieciate you trying to help me. Lets hope dp88 happens to come accross this topic lol! I don't use this board very much so I don't know where to catch him.
Anyway I'll look about. See what may be able to either repair oe update my current string.dll file. I tried regicure but it hadn't helped. I'll figure it out at sosme point hopefully.
I also have a problem with Ren Alert, I need a wolDATA.key file which I DO have in my Renegade folder.

I have all the DX files, I just don't know where to place them. I don't want to take any risks either... unless defragmenting my harddrive will put them in the correct spot... I don't know lol! Even if defragmenting worked, it's take hours to do.

Goodness, I feel like knocking myself for twelve for not figuring that out lol!
Though now it says...
"Unfortunatly, there was an error loading bhs.dll. Please report this bug!"
I sure know how to get these errors lol!
I opened the notepad with bhs.dll and the following was mentioned near the bottom.....
