I have been looking around forums alot (different forums then here mostly) and have been wondering, what is the best avatar? Mine is custom made, and sucks. I'm wondering if anyone here would like to post their avatars(not to download, but just to look at them).also, post other avitars you don't use (not to mean other people's avatars, but just other ones not here, or bing used by you).

here is one i used on a star treck forums:

BAH! That's the Joker!

Also, this thread doesn't make sense to me... This thread is about showing off your avatars by posting them in the thread.

However, the entire point of an avatar is to be viewed by other people constantly, because they are attached to your name and information when you post...

So what's the point of me posting my avatar in this post when you can just look right up next to my name and see it? You can even right click on it and save it if you wanted to... Huh

It's neat that you brought that up, considering a lot of technology today was foreseen or inspired by Star Trek. Cell phones in particular are one device that bears a striking resemblance to the ST:TOS communicators. Touch panel displays, voice activated computers and things like warp drive are reality or are within the realm of physics. so all of that "unnecessary sci-fi lingo" is more of a benefit to the show than you seem to appreciate, which is fine, because I doubt the show was written with people like you in mind.

I really wouldn't call it any kind of prediction or anything. It was just concepts that inspired much of technology today.

Why are you worried about your avitar the point is to read what you have to write not to see your nice pictures on the message.
