Hello guys,
i have a problem with renguard. When ever run renguard ,it tells me that i need to update it , so it updates and then it exits, i run renguard again and it asks me again that i need to update it and i update again. It happens every time i install photoshop.
Did it ever happened to u guys? if yes how did u fix it

Are you running any programs like Tea Timer or Spybot?

Hmm, well it seems to me like a registry problem. My first guess is that the regkey isn't getting updated when you install these things so it thinks the previous action never happened.

i dont get it how i fix it

is it somet to do with XP pro.
since i got Pro and tryed to install Photoshop my pc messed up each time i install photoshop



PS: it has ruined mt gmax and RenX they wont work either or LE or 3D max

99% sure that its the registry then. RenX needs the Gmax key %GMAXLOCATION% (or something like that) to even run, and 3ds Max would too.

Windows XP Professional wSP2 or SP3 is pretty much the best you can get, you may have just got a bad copy.

No idea how to fix it but I would google something like XP Registry fixer, cleaner or just general "xp registry problem".

Make sure to uninstall, restart you computer, reinstall, restart your computer.

Its amazing what restarting your computer can do sometimes.

It is in the options menu, click on game.exe and play with the menus, it is not that hard now.

thanx alot ppl that helped i reinstalled my stuff that wasnt working now photoshoop and all my other stuff work and Renguard

i disabled updates for if it happens again

help after i did this then installed AVG my pc wouldnt turn on so i reformatted pc and nothing will work and renguard wont let updates disable .

well thats cos i dont know how to stop it from updateing
