Hi all,
Trying to get a new longer nickname but XWIS will allow only like 9 characters?
Anyway, I know GSA players have longer nicknames.
Is it possible to get a longer nickname and still be able to access XWIS servers? Or should I get something like Ren IP and log in to the server I want directly?
Please help me!

In GameSpy you can change the executable file of a game. I suppose ASE also has this option.

In gsa right click on renegade in the right 'my games' area,
then go to options then on the right on that window you should see a area to edit the executable of the games, simply change the game.exe to game2.exe.
Also there is no way to access xwis only servers with longer nicknames unless you obtain their direct connect details.
Jamie is a guys name in Europe...

Just keep in mind that some servers don't allow GSA/Direct Connect players (such as BI1/2 and TK2)
