Hello,

I am trying to help my (little) brother recover his password for an XWIS account he made. He does not remember the password and I just reinstalled Renegade after a two month break.

Is this the right place to ask or should I contact Crimson?

Hi,

I did that but I am not sure what happened. It said reset password in green letters.

Now even when I log on with my "Starbuzz" account, it is not detecting the servers.

EDIT: I restarted and now I can log on and see the servers with my "Starbuzz" account but the other nick does not work.

Ooo thank you, Goztow for those links. Now I have another small problem:

It is not letting me type in a wrong password. I choose the nick and the password field immediately fills up with the old password. Huh

You need to do "delete account". This will not delete your xwis account, it will just delete the previous pass u entered, locall.

Oooo OK thank you so much Goztow! I will delete account and try again with "reset passwords."

It is now 3:55 AM in my place haha! I have to go to sleep now and then work! I will update this thread again in about 9 hours when I am free.

I don't mean to hijack someone elses thread that has been solved,but when I do reset passwords,it is only resetting one password at a time,ie. the nick I logged in with.
I never used a different serial,so it should reset all, because I've done this before.
I did get a new pc.Would that make a difference?
