ok now i tried to download patch 1.037 english it downloaded ok but then when i had to activate the patch it said "old file does not exist" it also said "game might have been modified (which it hasnt i didnt install any mods) reinstall game and try again." this computer is a good comp as u would say. ive uninstalled and reinstalled it 2 times now HELP

Is it normal Renegade or The First Decade? As The First Decade already has patch 1.037. Also: are u reinstalling in a different directory? As an uninstall usually leaves files in the old dir. Check the sticky in this subforum for an easy to follow guide  .
