Angry um renegade/renguard is not working for me idk why it says error code 00000005 and subject says renguard so its renguard

You need to run game.exe and game2.exe in windows xp sp2 mode and with admin rights.

That's what u get when running Vista...

game.exe is usually renguard(+ renegade of course) and game2.exe is usually just renegade.

Yes, you can. You just need to run Rg (game.exe) and renegade (game2.exe) in win xp sp2 compatibility and admin mode. Smile

right click game.exe > Click Properties > Compatibility > Check "Run this progrom in compatibility mode for:" Select Windows Xp(Service Pack 2) > at the bottom Check "Run this program as an administrator.

Do the same for game2.exe

Hi yes im having the same issue with the error but i cannot find the 2 .exe programs im using the First Decade if that makes any difference. i was able to run the program fine for a couple of days but just recently i encounterd this error.

You can probably find them in an EA folder in Program files. You could always use Windows search, too.

File path > C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)

That would be the file path for it if it is installed on "C:" if not just replace "C:" with w/e it is.
