The future really isn't a place I want to be living in. Sure, technology is great, but nobody knows when to stop. Over-indulgence is already a major problem in the world today. Just think of what it'll be like in 10 years.

Yep. Already people rely on the computer to do all their work and all they do is sit in their chairs. Maybe people won't die from a cyborg or anything like that anytime soon, but people will definately die from obesity and muscle deterioration.

I really don't think it's that as much as it being some weird genetic thing. If you notice, a lot or most people that are overweight live healthy lives.

I've seen the obese people who actually have a disorder, which is understandable. Here where I live though, I've noticed almost over 20-30 people I knew from junior high have become overweight over the years. ...And that's just the people I know and recognize. Even if people's obesity is related to genetics, they still have the choice to exercise, eat right, and better improve their physical well being.

Genetics is the least of the problem. Unhealthy eating habits, lack of exercise, lack of water, and other unhealthy habits all contribute to obesity.

To reinforce the second part of what you said, for instance, some research group did a recent study on China since they started the Westernization of China and the results showed that the average Chinese person weighs much more than before the Westernization of China. That says something right there...

Beings I do not have problems with being over weight (I mean that I stay pretty much the same no matter what I eat), I tend to give people with problems of obesity the option of a doubt, beings I have no clue what it is like to be overweight.

The thing is, even with such a supercomputer, I don't think the machines we create will ever rise up against us. But they sure as hell can be a threat to our jobs.

They will make the need for human input in decision-making obsolete. If a computer can think better than humans, then it will conquer, for example, the business world and all the decision-making processes that goes along with it.

The virus can only do operations that it's creators intended it to do. The computer does not make the viruses.

I think MSG is also another big factor for obesity. If you read a lot about it, it's quite messed up. MSG is in so much food, you consume on average around 1 gram of it daily.
