Ya I know I just posted a topic but I figured if theres anyone that likes to do cosmetic work and body work to vehicles to check this out. This is one of my 2 zrt 600 snowmobiles I own in a small pack of 5 snowmobiles. I reduced the number of snowmobiles I had from 13 to 5 cause I didnt need all of them.

But anyways. I took all the ugly stickers off this one polished the tunnel so it looks like a beast.

Quads are useless in the snow, hense why sleds were invented! Some of those machines are insanely powerful, and will out-run even some sport bikes with ease...

Take it to a big lake and do a 'Top Gear'.

(for those who don't know what a 'Top Gear' is, you drive the mobile over the lake at full chat and you won't go in, you'll skim along the top.)

I reject your definition of "ATV" and substitute my own (snowmobile). Razz

If u ask me, snowmobiles are the only true all terrain vehicle, I would like to see someone take a stock atv go accross water without having one specially made for it Razz. Snowmobiles of course go accorss snow and they perform best in the grass cause they can get alot better traction.

What about in woods and stuff with lots of fallen branches and rocks and such? LOL I don't have either but I would choose a ATV.

U can go over rocks and tree limbs just as good. Not fast, but u dont go over them with an atv fast either. Only problem would be that in the tunnel half the cooling system is there so snow will get thrown up onto it, and obviously if ur riding it in the summer its gonna overheat fast and blow ur engine.

I wouldn't even consider trying to take a skidoo down most of the trails I ride in the summer, you'd be getting your skis stuck on just about everything...

Skidoos are wicked in the winter, and go wayyy faster, but a quad is far more nimble, and useful in the summer on bush trails...

And yes, you can take a quad over deep water if you have good balance -- Just need to air the tires up a bit more so it'll float Very Happy

Skidoo hah, a joke ;P. They would be slow as hell if it wasnt for there weight. And the only reason they have so little weight, is cause there bulkheads are very cheap and light weight. Thats why there always blowing pistons and shit. I got rid of all my skidoos within a year. AC all the way baby ;P
