Okay well, tried to play Renegade lately, unbeknownst that my Hard Drive would go all corrupt. Fixed it (without having to reformat Big Grin

) and went to reinstall Renegade and uninstalled Renguard, dispite the entire Renegade directory being deleted after I fixed my Drive. So I went back here, downloaded 1.3, 1.03, whatever is the latest one. Then Installation is going good then an error comes up "C:\Westwood\Renegade: Renguard must be installed into your Renegade directory!"

Yea something is messed up... Huh

If you know how the windows registry works: it is safest to delete all renguard related entries before reinstalling it.

Did you update Renegade before attempting to install RenGuard? You didn't mention that in your post.

ok i no this 1 lol samething happend to me
if u use a login name for windows u need to instally renguard directly into the default folder. renegade installs to C:/westwood/renegade

if u have a windows login it sometimes tries to install into the westwood folder located in your username folder.

u cant install renguard to another folder
