ehh wel i have been thinkin about for having renegade a transver map like in RA2 when u dont have the map it autosends u the map from the renegade FDS data folder u gotta use some tool thoug any way if this would be possible then adding maps to ur server wouldnt be a pain in tha ass to get people on it if u guys could make that program
then that would be some freakin awsomen333s

A auto map downloader was (Don't know if it still is) going to be put into RenGuard. You'd have to wait for someone from the BHS department to verify that for you. But yeah that would be great for NewMaps servers.

Renegade isn't capable if you start game.exe and put a map in your Data folder than play a server with that map, you would just keep falling through and through. Very Happy

If renguard did download that map for you, then restart renegade, it would work. Very Happy

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

There's a really cool program called ModToaster created for Generals that can be made to work with other games. I met these guys at the Community Summit and I plan to talk to them about possibly modding it to work with Renegade.

relays can send files and stuff and u might be able to make scripts (for irc) that makes it possible to do that

LOL I guess I could have mentioned that, but yes. It actually can install and uninstall full mod packages for Generals without breaking anything which is really cool.
