this is my first time connection to renegade online , so please help Dont Get It

have you downloaded the patch for renegade? If not download and install it before trying to connect to online

This happens when i host a game. It says "failed to create a game: Not connected to server."

and when i re-installed the game I did this.

1) installed the game properly.
2) used crack from CD.
3) applied patch 1.037
4) used crack for 1.037

And this happens when I first logged in to westwood online. It says "Log-in to XCC Online failed!
Invalid nickname (SID: 101):valid nicks : chounn hayablast dman2k... and so on.

ah, when you logged in its not recognising your name.

Either;

A) the nick your trying to use is registered by someone else

or

B) You entered an invalid nickname

Try making a new nick and password (simply type in the nick and a password, and it will auto-register if its not already taken) Thumbs Up

It will give a different message when you log into WOL, something about it being recommended you download Renguard, and welcome to XWIS Thumbs Up

i have another problem again it seems that i don't get any renguard notice or somethin like im going to download it and also a used 1 of the valid nicks and when i got to advanced game listings there were no rooms nor people in the chat room Dont Get It

and now its saying:
"unable to connect to server.
unable to connect to westwood online."

It only lets you register a certain amount of nicknames per serial. The maximum amount of nicknames have been registered for that serial.

Did you get the game from a friend that recently stopped playing, or get the serial from anywhere else besides a new copy of the game?

To get a new serial you'd need to buy a new copy of the game, which would cost like $5. Or buy The First Decade pack, which is the price of a normal game.

If you don't want to buy a new serial you could just use one of your friend's names. Ask him for the password to his nicknames.
