Yo. I just recently got into the Battlefield 2 Demo and I was curious... Is there any way to go about fiddling with the Instant Battle settings? Like... Is there a way to change the time limit to 0(infinite)? Change rounds? Points? Tickets? Sides? Anything like that?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone have any real know-how? I wanna yank the time limit from Single Player mode. I've already got the secondary weapons unlocked. I've also figured out a way to fly the jets without too much hassle. The joypad works, but I bet a joystick would work better. Kekekee.

I have not looked into Bf2 editing much lately, but i noticed all of their rules files are hidden somewhere, I just got BF2 not long ago. Its a nice game. One thing i hate about Singleplayer is the damn pots race you to the Helicopters and jets. I Love to kamikazi in that game.

Ooh. Break out, yo. :3 I've already disabled the time limit and unlocked the alternate weapons, so that's no problem. And yes, I will eventually buy this game... Once I have money.

When it comes to games like Battle Field 2. they overexagerate the processor requirements. We got BF2 working on our P3 933. But they say the minimum requires a p4 1.5Gz or something like that. Your video card seems to be the most important thing when it comes to FPS.

Yeah, I just hated killing random faces, so I decided that they needed names. Didn't care about changing anything else though.

okay bump>

Botnames can be found in this Directory:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\AI

The bot names are in the file name: "BotNames"

open it with a text editor and only make changes to the lines that start with:

aiSettings.addBotName <The Designated Bot Name>

Here is the thing. The Bot names have to be two strings(there must be a space between them) and the First String must end with a ".".

An Example Line of code would be this:

aiSettings.addBotName Lt. Hawk
