First off, DO NOT REPLY IF YOU DONT READ THE LINK POSTED:

http://70.84.172.10/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtop ic&p=870&sid=d43ff8dd1cad8c1d080650b9f4e1790b#870

This pissed me off on so many levels. The just of it is:

-He saw girl going 90mph
-He put on sirens
-Girl sped up to 110mph
-when girl finally stopped He pulled out gun for protection just incase
-higher ranking officer shows up to the scene
-girl says she just did it because she had to go to the bathroom(nevermind everyone's safety)
-girl says she is getting a lawyer
-higher ranking officer relieves My clanmate for pulling out the firearm
-clanmate could spend time in prison now

I hope this lady speeds into a telephone pole, and doesnt walk away from it.

That is beyond retarded... fired for pulling out his firearm? Police officers have a responsibility to protect our (civilian's) safety as well as his own. It's not like he even shot her. Should have tazed the bitch.

I'm the bawss.

What the hell? This is so stupid, there are no words to describe it.

If cops are being fired for doing their job, just... what the hell...

Neat site.
I would have done the exact same thing in his position. And i agree, if she had to take a leak that bad, she would have wet herself when he put the cuffs on her. The only words of wisdom that i can give, are; if he does go to jail(and i hope he doesnt,) then never follow someone planning to break out, and try to be friendly to your cell mates if you have any. The last thing you need, is for one of your cell mates to try and kill you in your sleep.

I agree, this is completely bullshit. Doesnt make sence and if he does go to jail, its going to show how fucked up the american legislature really is.

Maybe the higher officer somehow "recognised" the girl as the daughter of his higher officer?

Anyway, somwhere the system is screwed if such things happen...

Also be careful with what people say. I knew sicker jokes than this before (not saying it is one, but it could be one)

i dont think he would put that much time and effort into typing and researching officer codes...seems alittle much to do to me.
Besides he didnt just say the story and nothing else, he typed replys with more info...so ya i doubt it.

Load of shit. The woman could have been pulling out a gun of her own, and if she had drawn he would have been unable to draw too without being shot. And she had sped away from him while speeding, ignored his requests to stop and was arrogant when apprehended? Bitch. All this political correctness and amount of criss-crossy rules on firearms have scewed the system if people are fired for this. what happened to the days of "bitch is speeding, stop bitch, gun out, fine her and point her license". now officers have to wonder whether or not it's ok to use a firearm.
the reason I think they should always have firearms and should always be ready to use them is that the offender might also have a gun or weapon they can make use of in a faster manner than the officer's reaction time to pull his or hers out. After all, what good is a police officer without a gun against someone with one? i think this is going beyond the scope of that story though.

Seeing how this is in my state, I wouldn't be surprised that this happened. Like the guy said in one of his posts, the laws in this state are nuts. If the roads in that part of the state are like they are where I live, I'm surprised she didn't have a wreck going that fast.
