People with GeForce Cards will find this interesting. You can overclock your card from within windows via Right Click > Properties > Settings > Advanced button.
Some of you may already know this, and people with ATI cards, I think a similar OC feature is already available through the Catalyst drivers.

I overclocked my FX5200 a bit (until I can get a new card) and it helped me.

Already used and activated.
It's called CoolBits, which is an overclocking tool that comes with the nVIDIA drivers. You have to unlock it.
