Help! FDS server messed? [message #132844]

Hey i start up my server for the first time and i get this..

Then it just loops over and over.

Does serial number= cd key? thats impossible because i have a brand new copy of renegade and no one has my cd key

The serial number from renegade is not compatible with the

serial number of the fds. Get a free serial number at

http://renegadeserver.westwood.com/RenegadeFdsReg/index.jsp

so then i put the cd key i will get via e-mil into the gamespy config document located in the server file?

You don't need a serial number if u wan't to run your server on WOL.

It is only needed if u want to host on WOL.

If u run a server on WOL, u will have to edit the server.ini file instead of

gamespy.ini .

Change the GameType setting in your server.ini to GameSpy and

it will work Smile
