Hi i jsut reinstalled renegade after about 5 months. Well i went through all the steps and everything and after renguard was installed i began installin core patch one and received this message. I need immediate assistance since i have a clan game at 12.
renguard has detected corrupt files. In order to install core patch 1 you need to dl fixed copies and extract them to your renegade directory. Mix files(maps) belong to the data directory. Click on those dl links overwrite your corrupt maps and when you are done restart renguard.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated!!

A bit too late i guess, anyway:
I should reinstall Renegade, then use the Westwood patch to patch it to version 1.037. Then install RG and update to CP1.... That should do the trick.
Before you reinstall Renegade, you need to delete all files in the x:\Westwood\Renegade\ directory (where x is the drive where you installed renegade) So, make sure you didn't leave (corrupted?) files behind!

There should have been files listed that you needed to download to replace the ones we didn't recognize to patch.
