I read it a while ago, and actually manged to find a web page dedicated to it.

Amazing how searching for something completely different will pull up results like this..

After Reading a few parts of the pardody on the website, I must say. Maybe it was funny in the times the books were made, or it's just me. But I don't find it funny.

Yes I have read it. A number of years ago. If you enjoy parody humor, then you'll love it. You don't HAVE to know the Lord of the Rings story, but you will get more of the jokes of you do. Knowledge of the time period it was written in also helps.

hehe, I've got that book sat next to my LOTR collection (The films, books Hobbit and Silmarillion :rolleyes:), it can be quite amusing.
