I just installed an nforce2 epox motherboard (model 8RDA3+) and I have no sound. The drivers are installed and everything but the system doesn't recognize my headphones. Is this some hardware issue? I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere... Sad

Are your headphones plugged directly into your card? You might want to mess with the volume control options in the control panel.

Yeah I kicked it once and it seemed to raise the sound quality a little bit. Then I tried smashing the motherboard with a hammer and now I'm listening to top-quality sound.

First step: Restart (If that doesnt work)
Second step: Kick the tower (If that doesnt work)
Third step: Beat the Mother Board with a hammer (If that doesnt work)
Forth step: Open is up and piss in it (If that doesnt work)
Fifth step: Call tech support
