	| This error started occurring a long time ago, when I used msconfig to disable some junk on my startup that I couldn't remove before. I guess I was being too careless and took off something important. Now when windows starts up, I get this error shown below. I tried resetting to defaults, I even tried System Restore, and I still get that damn "Bridge.dll module not found" error. I'm so tired of getting this error every time windows starts up that I am now asking for help.

Add to C:\windows\downloaded program files and restart. Maybe try putting a copy in c:\windows\system too, if the error continues to occur -- since those .dll files are really for the system directory (but perhaps in this case there are exceptions).

On an off-topic note, I thought this thread would be some sort of joke. I mean, bridge.dll?? I'm too lazy to even google for what it does, even though I just googled a download location for it.

	| The ZIP file doesn't contain bridge.dll... It only contains instructions. Also, for some reason Windows doesn't allow me to place any files in the Downloaded Program Files folder. |

	| Actually, I would read that instruction file. It is saying bridge.dll is part of a 2-file adware scam, and it also contains instructions on how to remove the whole thing. |

	| I read the instructions and none of those registries exist in my registry. There are no traces of that ad-ware. |

	| by_ruddles: I've already taken those instructions before, I even tried again now and those key registries aren't there.
Beanyhead: Even though I've tried doing that many times, it actually worked this time... Thanks.

 PROBLEM SOLVED.

 Thanks guys.
