I've never had to know the Ten Commandments for a test, but I've needed to know the Pillers of Faith, various Shinto and Buddhist practices, other random Islamic facts, things about Jainism... I believe there was things about Judaism in addition. But nothing about Christianity really o_o I've had to write things about pilgrimages and such...
The only Christian-specific assignments, per se, was one where we had to create a new part for Dante's Inferno (Ralph Nader was the subject of my wrath, in case you were curious). That was with my favorite teacher ever, in my freshman year of high school, for my Western Civ class. And, I once wrote, for English, about The Canterbury Tales. Oh, English is where we learned the most about Christianity, but we still learned way more about 'other' things.
And we read, starting in freshman year of high school, way more stuff written by black people (or really old, classic white people... like Shakespeare), than modern-at-all white people. And a lot of it was rather sick and disgusting in various ways
