gernade launchers are good for getting quick points and credits at the beginning of matches.
Otherwise they suck.

Dont even think that the Pistol is useless, it is very effective, and capable of shooting the enemy unoticed, of course, it has a limited range but silenced... I like silent takedowns ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I think the Nod Rocket Soldier Officer sucks, because:
- A Laser Chaingun Black Hand is just 225 more, so by the time you have 225, you almost always have 225 extra for the LCBH
- It fires slooooow, so about everything can dodge it.

On city, run over past their harvey and go straight up one of the side bits near the Nod base, you can hit the strip and get 200 points before your harvey has got back.

I can't stand using the grenade gun. You can't hit infintry unless you get lucky. I like the stealth dudes laser gun myself. Plus the abilty to run around unnoticed is a bonus.

I dont know whether u suck or not - ive never played u. If you wanna play me - its gonna be flippin difficult - I live in Bahrain - a tiny island in the middle east. Anyway my point is there is a 9 hour approx time difference, and i have work and stuff. But if you can tell me where youll be at what time - ill try 2 play u...

OK, here's my thoughts, backed up by a lot of research on my behalf into damage and fire rates.
Grenadiers: 1 grenadier, working alone, can 2/3 destroy a building from the OUTSIDE. Yes, that's right, outside. 48 grenade rounds is a lot of death. They're just as powerful as rockets, but he gets more. A 3 grenadier rush on Under, City, Volcano, Glacier, Walls can cripple a building in about 30-40 seconds once they start firing. Never say grenadiers suck. Cost-to-damage wise, these are the best characters ever. Also the only free unit that can blow up a building by itself from inside, I believe (besides the Engineer time/remote bug that is.).
Chemwarriors: Never diss the chem warrior, he owns buildings. 1 timed c4 plus 2 or 3 (i think 3) clips = dead building. Chem rush owns on no-defense maps also. Chems do decent vs vehicles, too, and if you headshot people they eat infantry for breakfast.
Shotgunners: How can you doubt a unit that can kill anyone in one headshot? I rest my case.
Mobius/Mendoza: I CANNOT believe someone said Mobius sucks in this thread. Mobius is like Jesus, he can't die. Unlike Jesus, he also brings massive pain and death with him to anything, be it vehicles, infantry, or buildings. Mobius can kill Stealth Tanks/Arties/MRLS/Hummers/Buggies/Orcas/Apaches/Transports in one clip. He can kill Flamers/Meds/LTs/APCs in two. 3 or 4 headshots will kill pretty much anyone with him. He kills buildings as fast as a chemwarrior from inside.
Laser Chaingunners: They do hella damage to vehicles and structures from outside, and people also. Like a slightly weaker version of Mobius.
Stealth Black Hands: Their rifle actually does a little more damage per clip to vehicles and buildings than the LCG does, but they take longer to fire. It's a decent trade since they can cloak.
My votes for most useless weapons would have to go to the Tiberium Auto-Rifle, with the Flamethrower in a distant second. The TAR sucks. It's slow to fire, the bullets are slow, and when you compare what Nod gets for the same price, the chemwarrior, you REALLY feel the shaft because he is the building assassin while Sydney is just a pansy until she saves her pennies for the Assault Suit.

There is no doubt that the mob is a good unit to use.... however he is not the best ever..... his ability to kill tanks is on the level with that with a powersuit/rave..... with one difference the range... the range of this unit makes it ineffective when trying to confront vehicles from a distance... there is no doubt that this unit can kill a substantial amount of armoured units... however..... any skilled tank driver can easily take this unit out via shooting the ground the mob is standing on.....the volt gun's tendency to make the mob a close range unit makes it lower on the list of effective ness.............
you also stated that the flame trooper is 2nd most useless unit.... it range is limited..... but the fact that this unit is exceptionally good in close quarters rivals that of the chemtrooper..... also the ability for 2 of these units to take out a building with one clip prior to a c4 drop makes them invaluable on non-defense maps.....

The worst by far is the Ramjet rifle. Yeh right one shot on any infantry unit and a kill but weak against tanks. I think the auto pistal and the garnade launcher are two of the worst in the game.

Well if you honestly think that then you have to be one of the dumbest people to ever post here......... ramjet is good against all infantry as well as hummers/buggies and arties/mrls...... they also rack up on point when shooting at a normal tank..... 10pts per shot.... they are also the best thing to deture an orca.......
auto pistol is the best close combat weapon you can have.......and the grenade launcher is the best free infantry you can buy for rush maps....
