I was refering to the use of the Glow skins as the reason why I was killed from a distance. I wasn't sniped either, I was shot down with a M.Gun, so I was not in the game you where in. I do know about the shimmer when rubbing aginst something, and I was not aginst a wall, or close enough to be seen, just pressing forward w/o shift, so I was running, not walking, and was a GDI barriks and a half away from the enemy that shot at me. So I assume from what I read from above that the running made the glow skin work. They said if your walking slowly you would be totally invisable, and I was running.
I also know walinkg through Tibirium causes the shimmer, hit by weapons fire or blast radius from explosive causes shimmer, and if you are close enough to a stealth unit, you can see the shimmer ( faintly ).

I've been accused of cheating because I was sniping, heard the footsteps (repeatedly in one level) and swung around and plinked the ******* with a quick headshot.
So I was not only accused of Aimbot, but also Stealth hack.

Hi profile skins are cheating. They ruin the balance of the game. If you need enhancements, you have no skill. Just be better at finding the snipers is all. If they can find you , find a way to be undetectable, or at least lo-profile. Snipers key in on movement, and tracers.

What good is standing still, so you can't be traced by movement, if you are a light bulb glowing in a dark room.
Like a surge protector under a desk, you may not beable to see the surge protected in the shadow of the desk, but you can see the LCDs that are used to indecate if the device is ON, PROTECTED, or GROUNDED.
Or like a light house on shore durring the night, you can see it from a distance from a boat.
These skins make you light up like a light bulb, scruewing with your tilent, making EZ for the enemy to spot you and KO you.
You can stand behind the sniper box in filed all day, not having been seen by ppl with out the skins, but one person who is using the skins sees you as clear as day in that dark box.
