I love it when i sit with my £3 mouse, which i have had for a few years now and loved ever since i first got it.

I use a Microsoft Wireless mouse and keyboard.

I have had 0 lag and have only needed to change the batteries once over the course of the year and a half that I have had it. This is simply the best mouse I have ever owned.

The only mice I buy are the $10 Logitech wired mouses. I don't like wireless mice, I think they aren't powerful enough. I notice when i move the mouse around really fast playiny a game I might pick up the mouse just a tiny bit and it doesn't read it. Never have that problem with my wired mouses....

Im sure a lot of why i don't like wireless is just because I THINK they lag...when i'm sure they don't.
