Hi all,
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has kept renegade alive. I quit playing 6 years ago and just now started back up and am having a blast. I plan on buying copies of renegade for my friends now that I am back, most of them never heard of it, lol. Again, thanks for everyone at XWIS, and whoever else I need to thank for keeping renegade alive. I was so disappointed in c&c 4 I decided to try this again and I am glad I did. gday all, smoky

CnC4 was awful, I was so utterly dissapointed with it.
You can blame this guy for it if you like, he's not the only person responsible, but he sure did have a large negative influence.

wow,
thanks for all the replies  And your right reborn, 4 was a total failure imo. It would be ok if you had never played c&c or any other rts maybe, lol. I still play kanes wrath alot but never online, i am a turtle so its only comp stomps for me, lol.
I plan on getting a vent server and recruiting some of my friends if i can get them away from wow for a second, lol. To me, I have never had as much fun in a video game as having your friends in a apc, on vent or ts ,heading over to blow up their pp, lol.
Also, I own my own computer business which specializes in gaming rigs, so if anyone needs any hardware advice, help, or a opinion on what hardware to buy I will be glad to help in anyway I can.

If you want to give Ren a help, you could maybe give away renegade preinstalled on the rigs you sell, with a small link to our stickies for help on registering Renegade and such (a).

I know im repeating what other members said but its hard to quit ren, such an addictive game, once you play it. Your going to get glued.

Liquedv2, yew need to branch out a little on your thinking. I'm sure you'll twig it soon enough, but you're barking up the wrong tree.
The map is budding with new ideas and great game-play, AitcraftKiller just has to get to the root of the problem, it seems to have him pretty stumped right now.
Leaf him alone, he's doing a good job. I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say this map isn't fir you.
Anyway, this thread is really starting to lumber along, all this over some sap's map? I thought the game was dead, but this thread at least is poplar. It makes me pine for the days of yonder.
At the end of the day, life's a Beech.. Who wood of thought it?

True. I tried to quit playing renegade multiple times, but I can't! Every time I try to quit, I start playing again after a few months.
