Hi,

I just reinstalled Renegade after a long time... and all the installation went fine. But when I click on advance game listing to choose a server it search for a long time and time out.. Like if I couldn't connect.

Thought that was just my connection... i have it happen on occasion but just let it time out then retry a few times and it works...

ok it is most likely do to the xwis server change.

make sure renegade is closed.

go into the renegade registry and delete the following key folders:

Renegade>BandTest
Renegade>WOLSettings>Servers

reopen renegade and log back in.

tell me if that works.

Also check your hosts file (typically C:\Windows\System32\Etc\Hosts).

Could have been a DNS caching issue to do with the server changeover...
