My native resolution is 1440 by 900. After installing Renegade (hasn't been installed on this system before), my resolution automatically sets itself to 800 by 600 everytime the comp restarts.

OS is Vista. Any suggestions?

If you set the res with the what ever config.exe and does not work ingame

you need to change it yourself in the registry

open up registry and...well look

My fault for not being more precise:

It is my nongame, normal desktop resolution that automatically resizes itself to non-native resolution upon bootup (not Renegade's resolution).

While technically being more of a general comp problem than a Ren one, it did start to happen only after I installed Ren.

That's the first time someone posts this problem here since I can remember (and I have a good memory Razz)... Sorry, that doesn't help you much Sad.

Did you check if it kept doing that after you uninstalled renegade?

OS is Vista? Programs must be in admin mode to save to the registry.

Run WWConfig.exe in admin mode.

Go to C:\westwood\renegade

Find WWConfig.exe, right click on it, run as administrator, change settings.

Renguard is a wonderful initiative
