DVD Shrink isnt made for conversion, its for ripping a dvd to standard dvd sizes.

I use a program called Xilisoft DVD Ripper Platinum 4, it rips dvds to just about any format you could imagine. AVI, MKV...even directly to PSP video format.

Dude, how do you not know how to search for things? A fucking first grader could conceivably whip your ass.

I have a tutorial that uses two programs to rip a DVD. It even has a link to both programs. I've used this tutorial for numerous rips (as I usually forget how to use the program after not ripping for months at a time).

Then just follow the tutorial that I linked to. It will first rip at the full size, but you can choose the size and quality after that.

Will it be able to copy to a D.V.D. disk, or will it just say that this material is copy writed and cannot be copied to a disk.

Searching for the type of licensing it uses? How the hell is that illegal?

Anyway, looked it up and it's $45, for what it does it's not really worth that much to me, so I will pass on that.

I did what the site said But where it says
Quote:

Everything's set up. Just click the green arrow and wait about twenty minutes, after which you will have a set of files which look like this:

VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_PGC_07 - Stream Information.txt
VTS_01_PGC_07_1.VOB

The whole ripping process shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

Im getting VTS_01_1.VOB file and getting 3 more naming up to VTS_01_4.VOB not one vob file like it says in the instructions, each file is .99 gb (im gussing 900 something mb?)

What do i do?

*facepalm*

Quote:

Step 2: ENCODE

Launch AutoGK and select the first .vob that you just ripped as an input file, and set an output file name:

whoa.

I knew that's exactly what you had to do when you asked, but when I looked at what the tutorial had said, I can see how that would be slightly confusing.

whoa.
