i got that adapter to turn an hdd ide to usb...i had to format the hdd on my pc but once i took it to another freinds house or any other oc besides my own it cant read it and says corrut

Can you stilil read it on your PC (plug it back in and make sure)?

What is your OS?
What is your friends OS?

What format did you use (NTFS, FAT32, ?)

What size is the HDD?
