Whenever I take a SS at the results page it doesnt save.. and its kinda annoying
anyone know how i can fix it?

What TS says is correct: it just doesn't auto save them when you're at the result screen. Nothing to do about that.
You could use irfanview (irfanview.com): it allows you to save screenshots in any dir with a click on a button.

No, at least 3.44 sets PNG as default Value.
Nevertheless, to answer the simple question and coming BTT:
Get Fraps to get a screener in every Situation the Game is running. Ren itself can only do ingame screeners. Fraps is free for limited Use. The Full isn't expensive... erm OK it wasn't expensive for me thanks to the Euro.
However, the second Tool you need is Irfanview. This can open, modify and save your PNG/TGA as a JPEG.

Ren only saves SS's when you take them during game play, unfortunately. Maybe a new feature of the next release of scripts?
