There a small group making a alternitave westwood online. There has already been a smal release between the beta testers, but the servers are currently offline. in a nutshell, it simply allows you to play ALL the C&C's excluding Generals + ZH and C&C3 online. Even Sole Survivor and Nox and all the other WW classics.

It MIGHT bring it back to popularity, personally, I would love to see C&C95 boom again. Other features of the program are, Admins and moderators, Im not sure how that is going to work.. we will have to wait and see.

I've seen plenty of WOL clones try and fail, so good luck. Personally, I would never send my serial to a server that wasn't hosted or sanctioned by EA and it would be stupid for anyone else to.

By the way, in games like Renegade, it sends the serial to the server by default. I believe that is what Crimson means.

It;s a program where you enter a IP address which connects to the servers, allowing you to join a lobby.

True, like an FDS for C&C95 - Renegade + RA2.Still though, I want to play Sole Survivor online, which you can't do with XWIS.
