Okay, i am completely and utterly confused and annoyed.
I have been having continuous problems with RenGuard kicking me 2 mins into every single game i join because for some reason renguard has 'unexpectedly quit'. So i tried re-installing Renegade and RenGuard.
I installed it, installed the patch and installed RenGuard.
Now i join a server and 1 minute in :
<%aowbot> RenGuard has found unknown files on client friggi[CIV]!
<%aowbot> Host: [BR] friggi[CIV] is being kicked by RenGuard for: UNKNOWN FILES
I have installed no skins or maps or Cheats before anyone asks, i don't cheat.
Also, Renguard displays the error after i am kicked for 'UNKNOWN FILES':
[19:44] An error occurred within RenGuard. Please report this error: recv - 10054
Please help.

Strange stuff. This error is a general error, closest thing to an explication we got for it is here.
First time I see the "unknown files" as well. Have you tried uninstalling renguard and renegade + vanilla reinstalling in a different directory?

10054 means your PC terminated the connection, it could be an erroneous error message after RG disconnected from the network after having found 'UNKNOWN' files.
