I've been in servers with Half RG, I always get disconnected cause of the stupid renguard messages, and the RenGuard pings out. It dosent just happen to me, it happends to many people. PLEASE FIX THE STUPID THING OR NOBODY IS GOING TO USE IT!

RenGuard is a major mistake at this point, its useless from what i can tell. Needa fix all the stupid bugs in it before releasing new versions and such.

You should play on a server with an updated copy of BRenBot or NightRegulator then, as they no longer kick you from the game when RenGuard disconnects. Obviously whichever server you are playing in is using an out of date bot.

Wow what a fix. Everyone should play on a server with an upgraded BRenBot or NR. Come on this is just plain ignorrant.
How about fixing the client side. Renguard installs on the client side.
Or maybe there should be a disclaimer on Renguard that states when installing this program it will require you to play only on a server that has the upgraded BRenBot or NR.

Everyone has stopped using it they are all tired of it crashing to the desktop.
This program is now on the Gaming most useless anti-cheat software list.

The title of this post is correct. You guys should merge all the other posts into this one and create a small short story.

I would estimate 90% of servers use the updated bots. The recent RenGuard updates require both client AND server side changes, so if the server you are playing on is too ignorant to upgrade then its their own fault.

You are missing the point. Who gives a shit about the latest BRenBot or NR.

BHS had a stable release and it just ran.
Somewhere along the line they went forward with some change that has rendered this program useless.

I posted before that BHS needs to revert back to a stable release.

This one here is junk plain and simple but no one seems to be concerned about stability of the client and are more concerned about fixing the stupid bot's on the server side.

I will not change to BRenBot or NR on my server to correct a problem with client side software.

I welcome all NON-Reguard players to Bad Dog Gaming.

I will now stop posting about the Renguard client software.
It's apparent that no one really cares to fix the client side that they broke in the first place.

Ah, so your using CS or one of the other bots? Then maybe you should get in contact with their developers and get them to correct their bots to work correctly with the new RenGuard software.

^^ No, I was playing in TsuGaming AOW. That has the most updated NightRegulator out there. BRenBoT is a tool half the time, all the other bots are the easiest to setup, and brenbot makes people think about ok, now i have to go to server.ini check the ports blah blah blah...

As how CS & NR they both have easysetup's, I dont know why people torment those 2 bots(CS & NR) there the best bots out there.

RenGuard is dumb in my opinion, it kicked me like 3times from the server.

If YOU cannot be bothered to change YOUR server, to fix YOUR problem, I hold little help for you.

Look, we're lucky we have any form of anti-cheat. Actually, Renguard is "A complex client/server application" and BOTH sides need to be up to date.

THE PREVIOUS VERSION HAS A MULTITUDE OF PUBLICALLY AVAILABLE, FUNCTIONAL, BARELY DETECTABLE BYPASSES. USING IT IS NOT AN OPTION, IT WOULD RENDER RENGUARD USELESS.

Carrier it isnt JUST me, its SHITLOADS of servers, not just TSU. Mabye just cause were not as 'perfect' as you, with you saying ur a RenGuard kiss ass. If people wanna trust RenGuard and know that there stuff will run perfectly, they have got to fix the stupid bugs. I've played today like 3hrs, my Renegade crashed total of 4 times today, 2 times in 1 game.

Saying: You are no longer connected to RenGuard.

RenGuard is faulty at this point, we dont know what its capable of now.

may not be capable of anything, people just think that because the creators said so.

Of course if you were force-rg'ed on the server in question it would kick you when RenGuard disconnected (after waiting a short time to see if you reconnected), because to be forced to run RenGuard you must have been suspected to be cheating.

RG is not simply a client side solution, it also require a server side and that server side has to be updated every now and then just like the client side.

The fact that you refuse to update to a proper SS client just shows that you don't care about cheaters in your server.

I have been using RG when ever I play online, even in Non-RG servers.. for about a year now...

I only have problems with disconnecting once maybe twice every 2 months.. it isn't that big of a deal.

If I get disconnected once.. It won't happen again for a long time. Maybe it just likes me better than you? <_<

No reasonable Anti-Cheat Software should be crashing your game to desktop EVERY 30 MIN! I have put up with this too damn long, and i have tried EVERY source of correction on this problem, and none of them worked.

Indeed, I have had the RenGuard client running for about 16 hours now, and have loaded Renegade 3 or 4 times during that period. Not a single crash or disconnect or unauthorised instance problem.
